# Nekt

> Nekt is the data platform for AI agents. It connects your data sources, governs them into clean, trusted layers, and serves context-rich data to AI agents and people through SQL, a Data API, and an MCP server.

Nekt lets companies make their data queryable by agents: connect sources, organize them across Raw, Trusted and Service layers, add per-column context, and expose everything through an MCP server, a Data API, and a natural-language SQL assistant. Runs in your own cloud (AWS or GCP) or Nekt-hosted. SOC 2 Type II compliant.
