Nekt for Amazon sellers in Brazil: FBA tax invoice (NF-e) compliance

How Nekt supports the Amazon Selling Partner API Tax Invoicing role for FBA sellers in Brazil.

In Brazil, Amazon issues NF-e electronic tax invoices on the seller's behalf for every FBA shipment. Sellers remain legally required to keep these XML files for at least five years and to book them in their accounting and tax filings (SPED).

Nekt automatically retrieves those NF-e, including cancellation events, through the Amazon Invoices API and manages them for the seller:

  • Archive: stores the original XML files in the seller's own data environment for the period Brazilian tax law requires.
  • Organize: structures each invoice's access key, series, number, status and linked order and shipment into queryable tables.
  • Reconcile: matches invoices against orders, settlements and inventory movements to flag gaps before tax filing.
  • Deliver: sends invoice data to the seller's ERP, accountant or AI agents.

Nekt does not issue, alter or transmit tax documents: Amazon remains the issuer, and Nekt gives sellers the tools to keep and use those documents for tax compliance.
